Job Summary
Working independently and participating as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Primary Care Nurse is responsible for direct patient/client care at the Tahsis Health Centre, and delivers health promotion programs to individuals and groups in a variety of settings in the designated rural area.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
•    Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing and Level 1 Critical Care Course.
•    Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) required. 
•    One (1) year recent related, experience. 
•    Knowledge of available programs and services, their interrelationships, and their function in delivering care in the community OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 
•    Basic Life Support, Level “C” certificate.
•    Apply nursing process as required and described in CRNBC’s “Standards of Nursing Practice”. 
•    Travel is a requirement of this position.  Transportation arrangements must meet operational requirements.
